Ruin Rescue
Some time in the 12th century Castelo de Vide in Alentejo region was undergoing some expansion. 800 years later one of the houses within the castle walls was finally renovated. Thinking that we might like a little break the owner and architect who restored the place, Diane, invited us to stay for a few days and take some photographs of the interior for airbnb.
Only too willing to oblige we set off with cameras at the ready. The results can be seen below and should anyone wish to experience this delightful house and the town you can view more at Airbnb
These are awesome!! The rooms look comfortable and spacious. The lighting is perfect!! Thank you so much!
That looks a nice place. Or is it trick photography and a lot of photoshop?
No trick photography. Just tricky photography as I had to get the camera in to tight places. Using Camranger to control the camera from my iPad helped.
What a charming home. Is that a hooked rug on the floor? Beautiful. Oh did a wonderful job as always.
Really beautiful Diane. Sunpix.co.uk did a fantastic photo array! Love the colorful rooms. Cannot wait to see it in person.
