Slow Boat to New York
Our summer was spent in various parts of England. Lorna enjoyed herself when we stayed with her niece in a big old converted farmhouse in Derbyshire. Not least because there were stables just outside our back door where Becky (niece) keeps her horses and Lorna got to shovel horse sh*t every morning.
About the middle of September we thought it might be time to look for cheap flights to Los Angeles. It had been nearly ten months since we last saw our truck and trailer. How it happened we’re not quite sure but our search for cheap flights turned in to a booking for a 17 day cruise from Southampton, UK to New York via Norway, Iceland, Greenland, Newfoundland and finishing in New York.
